Our Story
Keith Portaro, CEO & Inventor
As an electrician by trade, I often find myself frequently working in a dimly lit or dark area. Being able to see properly is essential to completing the task you are set out to do. Struggling to see the head of the screw, or surface area you are working on can always be an issue. Especially if your eyes are not like they used to be.
While in this situation, I would utilize my flashlight. Although, this could be a little difficult at times. Trying to hold the flashlight with one hand and working with just the other, can make the task even harder to do. I would try freeing up my other hand by holding the flashlight between my chin and shoulder. Or try placing the flashlight on something nearby to direct the light where needed. But of course, that doesn’t always work out too well and the frustration sets in.
There are many options available. A head torch, but having to tilt your head a certain way constantly still doesn’t get the light where you want it. Or of course, you can use a drop light, but you’re not carrying that around with you, nor is it readily accessible at times. All of these items are helpful but not always useful or practical.
So, after years of dealing with the constant struggle of a simple task becoming unnecessarily difficult, I took it upon myself to invent something that would resolve the problem. Several years of thoughtful design concepts and ideas.
I created the Screwdriver LightSleeve. The one and only flashlight attachment for your screwdriver. The Screwdriver LightSleeve is a must have for all Electricians, Technicians, Mechanics, Tradesmen, Construction Workers, DIY homeowners, or anyone that needs to use a screwdriver.
I use the Screwdriver LightSleeve every single day whether I’m working on the job or doing projects around the home. I promise, you won’t want to work without it.
The Screwdriver LightSleeve will make your days of struggling while working with your screwdriver in a dimly lit or dark area, a thing of the past.
